VT Seva supports Andhra Flood Victims
A low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal brought heavy rains to many parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh over the weekend of 1st week of September 2024, inundating roads, agricultural fields, and urban neighborhoods. Rivers in spate have washed away portions of crucial roads, bridges, and railway lines in several places.
Our volunteers in Vijayawada are conducting the rescue and relief operations distributing food, water, medicines, and other essential items to the affected people. We are also planning to support the after-flood so that people get to normal life.
